Have you been wanting to try strength training but not sure where to start? Would you benefit from an approach that guides you through movements that are well thought out to deliver maximum load to your muscles with minimal strain on your joints?
This 5 day Barre BUILD Intensive series is designed to grow muscle and build bone density. Using a weighted vest and heavier weight, we will lead you through exercises that are productive, safe and efficient at growing muscle. We’ll lift heavier, yes, but smarter.
What makes Barre BUILD different from traditional strength training methods?
We created this class to work with your body, not against it. Using biomechanics, proven methods of growing muscle, your anatomy and even some physics, we have created exercises for this class that effectively load your muscles while avoiding wear and tear on your joints.
We chose the safest, most effective movements to grow muscle and build strength. The goal of each exercise is to get 3 to 4 reps shy of muscular failure. Meaning you only have 3 to 4 more reps in reserve until being unable to complete the movement. Another main difference? No combo movements. All movements in this class are in isolation.
Starts Monday, 11/10 through Friday, 11/14 at 6am
All classes are 35 minutes and are available in person, livestream or on demand (available for 48 hours only!).
Monday- Core, Glutes, Shoulders & Biceps
Tuesday- Triceps, Thighs, Chest, Back
Wednesday- Shoulders, Hamstrings, Glutes & Core
Thursday- Thighs, Biceps, Triceps, Chest
Friday- Glutes, Shoulders, Core, Back
Cost: In Person $95 (All 5 in person classes, $19 per class)
Livestream/On Demand $45 (Option to log on live or do the recording within 48 hours)
What you will need at home for livestream or on demand:
A few weight options (think light, medium and heavy. Your heavy should be 9 pounds or higher and your light should be 4 or higher) Only one of each needed. The goal here is to get to muscle failure in 30 reps or less so consider that when choosing your weight.
A weighted vest, we use 6 pounds in the studio. If you are unsure if a vest is a good fit for you, check with your doctor first.
